Great family day out though is expensive entry and everything you buy onsite is expensive food etc. I can put up with though as its a museum and they keep these vintage aircraft airworthy. There is tons to do and see here. There is a decent park for children to play on.

Canadian War Museum
Sort of a disappointment but that might be my own fault as I had grossly high expectations. Objectively it wasn’t a bad place though with some great exhibits showing the war history of Canada from the first wars (French and Indian war) to Afghanistan.LOTS of tanks, armoured vehicles, etc.My one complaint is that the lady at the ticket booth was quite unpleasant and didn’t answer my questions about the layout of the museum.

So many exhibits to explore! I've never seen so many tanks in one place before. My sons and I could've spent easily 6 hours at this museum.

Canadian War Museum
A wonderful museum with many elaborate exhibits covering every facet of Canada's military history. There are many dioramas depicting various battles Canadian troops participated in and a plethora of activities for all ages. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Many are also bilingual.

Sherbrooke War Memorial
Il est situé sur King Avenue, qui traverse presque toute la ville. Planté dans une vue spectaculaire, qui offre l'inclinaison entre deux montagnes révélant un spectacle émouvant avec l'ange et le brave de Sherbrooke

Fabulous heritage site with a lot of information about the War of 1812. My husband and I visited on a Sunday in August and saw various demonstrations of musket fire as well as cannon-fire.Everyone was in period costumes and the people demonstrating Camp / Fort life were informative and friendly.A gentleman showed us and discussed the use of various surgical tools used by the battlefield surgeons of the time.

We really enjoyed their light and sound show - it was fun, creative and informative! Definitely worth seeing if you're interested in the history of Quebec City. Their gift shop is cute and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Nice displays, organized well. Nobody was there to answer questions, so a bit sad for that. From the parking lot you can see the drydock, cool to see one of the naval ships inside.

This was pretty cool to stop and walk around. Informative plaques, WW1 armaments, and ruins jutting out off the cliffs. Be sure to walk the little path along the cliff to see them.
